DOO - Privacy Policy

"DOO" respects your privacy and hence we always focus on protecting your data and personal information. This privacy policy tells you what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose, when you visit and use "the DOO" website https://www.thedoo.io (the site), and the services offered by "DOO" (the site, Mobile Apps). By using the service you acknowledge and accept "DOO" Privacy Policy, which would imply that you have agreed on all contents and information. If you do not agree to the terms, please do not use the service or access our site.

"DOO", by no means, will ever try to attempt to collect any sort of personal information from minors, but due to any circumstances, if the guardian had any reason to believe that the minor might have given/uploaded any personal information prior to their consent, they must contact us to ensure us that such information must be removed as soon as possible. Although "DOO" policy does not hold the authority to collect the personal information of minors our users have in their respective families, we believe that it is the parent's responsibility to guide and monitor in case their child uses our product and services.

Information we collect and why

We receive and store information through Websites, Mobile Apps, and our Devices. Website (https://www.thedoo.io) collects your FULL name, Email, Mobile number & Preferred date, and time to connect with you. "DOO" APP collects your Email address or Mobile number to identify you as the user of a specific enterprise and to create your account. You may choose to provide your FIRST name, LAST name to complete your profile for a better user experience. We access the user\'s phone camera to set a profile picture, and we are accessing the internal storage of Android and photos app of iOS to select from the gallery with your consent. The camera is also being used for "Adding of devices" through QR code scanning. The primary objective of collecting the user\'s location information is to provide location-based services (Geo-Fencing services). We collect information about "DOO" devices such as MAC ID to ensure the connectivity of the devices. We collect your personal information in order to communicate with you regarding your device, service, or any general queries which you may have for our products and services. We may use user\'s personal information such as user\'s Emails in order to send notifications with regards to the status of their device or to inform our users if any changes have been brought in our privacy policy. We will be collecting only the information which is absolutely necessary and the bare minimum for us to collect prior to making a new account.

Users authority over their personal information

When it comes to Privacy, each one of us holds different concerns for the same, resulting "DOO" have provided some ways through which users can control and/or restrict the use, process, and disclose their information like Users can Log in/log out "DOO" account if they wish.

Apart from the "circumstantial conditions" (please refer below), users have all rights to correct, edit, delete a part of their own information that we possess except registered Email and Mobile number which we are using for identify users/ customers.

Users Information and its security

User's security holds the topmost priority for us, we assure our users that all of their personal information is stored in a secured and controlled condition. Moreover, we promise our users that we would be continuously focusing on enhancing security levels and restricting any unauthorized access. "DOO" will not sell, share or rent our user's personal information and credentials to the public and/or third parties. "DOO" does not allow any third party to edit or breach user's information by any means, if it finds anyone pursuing such activity, we have the right to stop their services on an immediate basis. It will be the user's responsibility to ensure that all the people who have access to the "DOO" application through the user's account are fully aware of the privacy policy mentioned here. In case if our users operate a "DOO" application via someone else's smartphone, we urge them to log out of their account, this would restrict the possibility of a data breach. We suggest our users keep their identification and password confidential and do not share it with any other person and/or third party unless that individual holds the authority over your account. We would not be responsible for any breach of the user's information if the user himself/herself provides his/her information to any third party. "DOO" stands firm when it comes to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of our user's we would like to assure that no breach on the private information would ever be done from our end.

Retaining the Information of our users

We may retain your information as long as we require in reference to legal norms and/or for the purpose of providing further services to our user's however, we may restrict and/or remove the retention of the information when we assume that the user has stopped the services we provide or has requested to stop the services we provide, as soon as we come to a conclusion that there is no requirement to retain such information.

Circumstantial conditions

We may/can reveal personal information of our users with/without their permission If user's information is asked by the Judiciary in accordance with the law and/or by the order of law and administrative orders of the government. In such cases where the government officials require the information of our user's it may not be necessary for "DOO" to take approval from the user.

This is to clarify that "DOO possesses" all the rights with respect to our products, services, application, website. All the above-mentioned properties are defended and reserved by copyrights and trademarks. Although our users are free to have a photocopy of the whole and/or a part of any information or instructions or download the content by any source for personal use only. No user is allowed to edit and/or modify the content of this document or privacy policy of "DOO" at any time and if "DOO" finds anyone tempering, editing, deleting, and/or adding the content which is not part of the "DOO", We may be obliged to take legal action against that individual/user and this will lead to immediate cancellation of our services. Users must not allow to use the content and/or service of "DOO" for their commercial benefit, if users do so, this may lead to immediate cancellation of our services and "DOO" may cease all the business relations with such user's moreover, we may, at our own will, ask that individual to return and/or demolish that particular content which has been tempered by them. Further, "DOO" would like to clarify that we possess all the copyrights and trademarks of the products which we have provided to our users.

Reframing/updating our privacy policy

"DOO" reserves the right to reframe/update the privacy policy whenever required to do so, although we will be communicating all the substantial changes which will be brought through user Email, however, if the user continues to use our product and service, it will be assumed as their acceptance of the update of the policy. "DOO" may from time to time in its sole discretion develop and provide updates to its Services and/or Product Software, which may include upgrades, bug fixes, patches, other error corrections, security fixes, and/or new features (collectively, including related documentation, if any, "updates").
